Probate and estate administration - fees
Our professional costs for probate applications are charged in accordance with the Supreme Court (Administration and Probate) Rules 2014. (see below) These fees also apply to applications for letters of administration where the deceased died without a will. The work done in administering the estate (eg, ascertaining and collecting assets, arranging transfers of property and distributions to beneficiaries, payment of expenses and writing to executors and beneficiaries) is charged pursuant to the Practitioner Remuneration Order (see below). These scales are prescribed by the government and are subject to change.
